Who Should Join?
If you are a career development professional in the state of Illinois, or a counselor who wants to learn more about career development, we hope you will consider joining ICDA. Our members include career counselors and practitioners from a variety of different settings including college career centers, public and private career-based organizations, and private practices.

ICDA also offers training in best practices in our field, and the funding we receive from our members helps us to offer these opportunities at a discount. Membership dollars also help us to develop resources such as our Job Search Skills packet and to keep our own website up-to-date.
Join ICDA!
You must be a member of the Illinois Counseling Association (ICA) to join. After you’ve joined ICA, the ICDA membership fee is just $20.
FOR ICA MEMBERS

Log in to your account on the ICA Homepage

Then, visit the Add a Division Membership page in the ICA Online Store

Scroll down to the ICDA logo and click “View.”

On the next page, leave the Quantity at 1 and click “Add Item.”

You will then be taken through the steps of paying for your ICDA membership.

The next time you renew your yearly ICA membership, the ICDA membership fee will be added to your total.
NOT A MEMBER OF ICA

Joining ICA and ICDA at the same time is easy.

Visit ICA’s Homepage and click the blue “Join ICA” button.

Review the Membership Options, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Option that best fits you. Then click the blue “Continue >>” button at the bottom of the page.

You will then be taken through the steps of setting up an account and paying for your ICA membership. One of these steps will include the option to join any of ICA’s Chapters and Divisions. Make sure to select ICDA!

The yearly fee for your Membership Option and any of the Chapters or Divisions you choose will be totaled for you before you submit your payment information.

The next time you renew your yearly ICA membership, the ICDA membership fee will be added to your total.
