For more than 50 years, the Illinois Career Development Association (ICDA) has been the professional organization for career counselors, coaches, and mental health professionals who understand the role of career development in the well being of their clients. ICDA strives to be the leader in providing professional development opportunities and resources for career and mental health professionals, as well as job search and other career support for Illinois residents.

As a division of the Illinois Counseling Association, the purpose of ICDA is to promote career development to all people over the lifespan in the state of Illinois.
